Romelu Lukaku has a new five-year contract for a club-record transfer fee of $47 million.
Liverpool, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Everton have completed the permanent signing of striker Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea, the Merseyside club announced on Wednesday.

Lukaku moves from Stamford Bridge to Goodison Park on a new five-year contract for a club-record transfer fee of $47 million, smashing the former record of 15 million pounds which the club paid for Belgian teammate Marouane Fellani in 2008.

"I am really excited about rejoining Everton," Lukaku said. "I had a fantastic experience last season and a great relationship with the manager, the chairman, the staff, the players and the fans. I can't wait to get started again and I'm looking forward to a successful season.   Full Story
