Debuchy to miss three months with ankle injury

Mathieu Debuchy required surgery to repair a left ankle injury suffered on Sept. 13.
London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Arsenal will be without defender Mathieu Debuchy for the next three months after the Frenchman required surgery to repair a left ankle injury.

Debuchy sustained the problem in Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Sept. 13, and manager Arsene Wenger said after the match that he was unsure of how serious the injury was.

But after tests, it was determined that Debuchy required surgery, which will keep him out of action for around three months.   Full Story
