| Responsibilities: The Sports Network, a leading provider of sports data services, is currently seeking a high-performance individual who desires a challenging, technologically advanced, fast-paced growth environment. The position will support current web products and applications, as well as create new web- and mobile-based applications. (e.g. live scoring, fantasy sports, social media, widgets, etc.)
Required skills include: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-6 years software development experience, with at least 2 years working with ASP.net and SQL in a production environment.
Demonstrated working knowledge of Visual Basic (form 6.0 to current). Ability to integrate third-party XML feeds and/or create XML outputs. Proficiency with JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, and JQuery a plus. Ability to assist with network and technical support. Strong desire to research new and emerging technologies. Must be a self-starter with good communications skills and ability to excel in a team environment. Sports knowledge a major plus.

Responsibilities: The Sports Network (a real-time International sports wire service and Internet content provider) is seeking a full-time employee who will produce, maintain and update The Sports Network web site. Day-to-day activities would include preparing individual sport section pages (including home page), creating headlines, posting photos and working on special event packages (e.g., Super Bowl, World Series and dozens more). The ideal candidate also will be asked to maintain sport-specific headshots and provide client and technical support. Candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of current professional sports. The position requires proficiency in HTML, Photoshop, MS Office and Windows. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, experience with ASP.net and handwritten HTML code is a plus. Individual must be able to work nights and weekends. All work is done on site, so you must be willing to relocate to the Philadelphia area. No phone calls please.
