 Ryan Howard, 1B, PHI3/3/2015 4:34:00 PM
Description: Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard said that he lost 15-to-20 pounds, and it showed during the Grapefruit League Opener. Insight: Howard looked noticeably slimmer, and utilized a completely new batting stance. He went 2-for-2 with one RBI. It is way too soon to get excited, but Howard has come into camp looking to prove he still has it.
Johan Santana, SP, TOR3/3/2015 10:06:00 AM
Description: Blue Jays left-hander Johan Santana will begin throwing Tuesday. Insight: Santana is trying to recover from shoulder surgery and an Achilles injury. He hasn\'t pitched since 2012 and has managed just 21 starts since 2010 which makes him a long shot at best. You probably should wait and see how his rehab goes before selecting him or picking him up in April.
