Braehmer defends belt with quick KO of Glazewski

a crushing body shot to earn his 14th consecutive win.
Niedersachsen, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - WBA light heavyweight champion Juergen Braehmer easily retained his title with a first-round knockout of Pawel Glazewski on Saturday.

Braehmer floored Glazewski (23-3) with a crushing body shot to end the fight a mere 43 seconds in and earn his 14th consecutive win.

The title defense was the third for Braehmer (45-2, 33 KO) since the 36-year-old German won the belt with a unanimous decision over Marcus Oliveira last December.
