Insight: Holliday took a pitch on the arm Saturday and was held out of Sunday's game as a precaution. he's having an excellent season, batting .314 with 23 RBI and an .876 OPS. As long as you don't expect him to be the 30 HR guy he was when he was younger, Holliday's numbers will satisfy fantasy owners.

Insight: Kluber went on to only allow one hit and strike out 18 in his eight innings, so perhaps it was better Holliday ended up missing the game, and he was still able to extend his on-base streak to 31 games. The contusion isn't serious. Consider Holliday day-to-day.
